Business Club

The Dutch Canadian Business Club of Edmonton (DCBC) brings together entrepreneurs, professionals and persons with a Dutch Canadian Heritage or Business Connection with the Netherlands for the purpose of networking, business, educational and cultural development.

As a focal point for the Dutch Business Community in Edmonton, members are offered numerous benefits including:

January 15, Pearl Ann Reichwein and Rudi Peet, Goldsmith: Rocky Mountain Business and Adventure

PearlAnn Reichwein, Alpine Wanderlust: Adventures in the Shining Mountains

PearlAnn Reichwein is an associate professor at the University of Alberta. Her award-winning book Climber’s Paradise: Making Canada’s Mountain Parks, 1906-1974 explores mountaineering past and present. Recently she was a visiting researcher in Paris. Her talk will connect sport, tourism, and conservation in Alberta parks and beyond, featuring archival images and photos of her own ascents.  

Rudi Peet, Motorbikes and Diamonds: My Life as a Canmore Goldsmith  

Rudi Peet is a Canmore goldsmith and originated from the Netherlands. In 2018 his work was exhibited internationally at Dutch Design Week and locally in the Banff-Bow Valley. His unique jewelry accents weddings and life’s special moments. Rudi’s love of beauty runs from design work to a passion for motorbikes. He will speak about both in his life as a professional goldsmith.
